Reflecting upon the haunted atmosphere that’s descended upon many a recession-hit British town (such as his hometown Coventry), Ghostpoet’s chiming synths and stripped arrangements tell stories themselves, even before the man himself has started to reel off tales of philandering, late night excursions and parakeets.
